Mitch is the Law School's representative on the WI Access to Justice Commission and former Chair of the State Bar's Public Interest Law Section. In the clinic he creates a learning environment where law students develop life-long skills and the ability to think critically about the role of law as a force for justice and social change. In 2004, Mitch co-founded an innovative 501c3 law firm, Community Justice Inc.,which has provided direct legal services to thousands of families.
